How to Save Auth Token | Backup Auth Token iPhone 4

If you unlocked your iPhone with these new factory Unlock services, it's important that you backup the activation auth (NCK) with SAM.

What is Activation Auth (NCK)

Activation Token

It will make sure you will remain unlocked when Apple "blacklists" your IMEI. It serves as some sort of NCK SHSH blob to ensure activation.

How to Backup Activation Token

This will allow you to do official activation on an iPhone without a stock SIM - it MAY help with Battery Drain issues, but that is NOT the primary purpose of this.

This is pointless on anything but an iPhone

Add http://repo.bingner.com as a repo in Cydia
Install "SAM" and "SAMPrefs"
Follow the steps in Troubleshooting/Hacktivated with redsn0w or PwnageTool
Go to Settings > SAM and touch "De-Activate iPhone"
Activate with iTunes
If iTunes says invalid SIM, you will need to manually select the appropriate carrier (Original seller of the iPhone) under one of the methods besides "Automatic" and click on a SIMID.

So once we get it unlocked we need to save the Auth Token which would be generated by the iPhone so that even if the Apple locks the imei again we get unlock using the Auth Token :)

  5. Few questions:
    - Say we get unlocked by paying 169$.
    - Now after some time apple again somehow blocks those imei's.
    - How do we now again unlock using auth token (if we saved earlier)
    - lastly which person you paid to get it unlocked.
    Thanks
